Try this simple experiment today: open a note on your phone or in a journal, and, throughout the day, jot down the thoughts you catch yourself thinking. No editing, no judgment. Just observe.
You might be surprised — even shocked — at the things you’ve been telling yourself on autopilot. The inner criticism, the fear-based assumptions, the limiting beliefs; and the sad thing is… it’s probably been going on for so long, you don’t even notice it anymore.
This is why awareness is everything, because we cannot shift what we aren’t aware of.
The good news? Once you do start paying attention, you get to take your power back. You get to interrupt the loop. You get to choose a new internal narrative — one that is rooted in truth, in self-compassion, and in possibility, and one not based on the conditioning of what we learnt as children from listening to the big scary world around us.
The words you speak to yourself matter. They are creating something. And your mind? It’s listening.
So ask yourself: What kind of life am I creating with the thoughts I’m thinking?
